As the global threat of Coronavirus (COVID-19) is spreading, Solo Containment Ltd would like to reassure their customers that none of our critical or product contact materials used in the construction of our isolator frames or enclosures poses an imminent threat.
For details of our material risk levels, please get in touch.
For the foreseeable future, all but essential travel for our personnel is on hold. Any essential travel will only be to non-Coronavirus affected areas as stated on www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-advice-novel-coronavirus. All personnel who do travel will be risk assessed for the destination. They are also briefed in what action to take when travelling close to others who are coughing or showing signs of respiratory illness.
We are always keen to ensure the wellbeing of our employees, and for the foreseeable future, we will be risk assessing all visitors to the Solo facility. Only essential visitors who fulfil our criteria will be allowed and they will be asked to complete a short questionnaire that follows WHO guidelines. For essential visitor criteria please get in touch with your Solo contact. The site is well equipped with handwashing materials – soap, water, hand sanitizer, paper towels, disinfectant and bins. We are confident that all our customers, suppliers and contractors will be following the recommended guidance and wish to reassure you that our organisation is continuing to keep up to date with the latest advice.
Please feel free to share this communication with anyone else in your organisation for who it may be appropriate.
Until further notice from gov.uk, we will continue to follow the above Policy.
Pete Ryder, Quality Manager
